Kizomba is the name of both the dance and the music, whose roots lie in Angola. Sometimes referred to as an "Angolan tango," kizomba combines traditional African rhythms with elements of other well-known dances, such as zouk, Argentinian tango and Domenican bachata. Its sensuality, African body movement, and also the very practical leading make it very usable on the dancefloor, and attract more and more dancers every year.
The I WARSAW KIZOMBA FESTIVAL, March 19th - 21st, 2010, is born out of our passion, and our over two-year effort put on promoting kizomba in Poland. You are all welcome to join, no matter if you already have some dancing experience, or if you’re just about to start your dancing adventure. We offer 3 days filled with workshops, lectures, shows , dance parties and a lot of fun, all that with the best instructors of kizomba, semba and the african dances.
See you on the dance floor! Montuno Ayé
